"Predatory mites will help combat pests such as thrips, whiteflies, and spider mites. The mites can be used in greenhouses and other covered areas, as well as on houseplants."
I personally use ticks for prevention - every month I release ticks for both the plants in my collection and the plants in the online store to rule out the possibility that the plants have any pests.
Predatory mites are used to biologically control the following pests:
- common retina (Tetranychus urticae)
- red fruit tree retina (Panonychus ulmi)
- red citrus mite (Panonynchus citri)
- tarsone mite (Polyphagotarsonemus latus)
- strawberry tick (Tarsonemus pallidus)
- young larvae of various thrips species
- whitefly eggs and larvae
One package is intended for an area of 1-2m2, if the plant leaves touch; if the leaves do not touch, one package is for each plant. If there is a large infestation, then it is necessary to take more packages so that the mites can cope with the pests.
The package contains both adult ticks, larvae and eggs, so the package works for 6 weeks. At that time, new predatory mites gradually emerge from the pack. Take into account that if there are pests, the ticks must be put again after a month!
Not effective on tomatoes, because tomato fluffy and soft leaves are not liked by predatory mites. They get stuck in the soft hairs and cannot move through the tomatoes.
Instructions for use:
The packets should be hung on the plants and left for the predatory mites to work. Do not tear open or unseal the packets! The packets already have holes, and since the mites are 1 millimeter in size, that is completely sufficient for them to come out of the packet. As long as there are predatory mites on the plants, they cannot be sprayed with chemicals, rinse the plant leaves with water, and clean the plant leaves. Predatory mites cannot be stored for long, so you need to place them on the plants as soon as you receive the packets.

‼️‼️This is a bulk order!!! I didn't grow or package the ticks myself!! As they come from Koppert, they are also sent to you. ‼️‼️
The predatory mites are packed in paper bags as soon as they arrive, put in a box and sent to you on the first working day.
If the air temperature is below +5 degrees, add a heating element so that the ticks do not freeze.
AAL permit No. III-237
IT'S GOT COLD OUTSIDE! If the air temperature outside reaches below +5 degrees, you MUST add the additional product HEATING ELEMENTS to the order, so that the plant is provided with warmth in the package while it travels to you! ‼️‼️1 HEATING ELEMENT PER 1 ORDER. NO NEED TO ADD A HEATING ELEMENT TO EACH PLANT! ‼️‼️
If you choose not to add a heating element to your order, we do not take responsibility if the plants freeze during transit.
